Aldino
Aldino (tedesco Aldein) lies on the Reggelberg mountain range, the linguistic border between Italian and German. Two important mountain massifs near Aldino are the Corno Nero (German Schwarzhorn) and the Corno Bianco (German Weisshorn). On the Corno Nero there’s a small skizone, the Passo Oclini (German Jochgrimm), suitable for winter family holidays in Italy. This skizone isn’t big, so children can learn how to ski with no stress. On the Corno Bianco is located the Bletterbach ravine, the only canyon in South Tyrol; here lies a very interesting geologic park, too. It’s possible to take part into many interesting hiking trips around the Bletterbach ravine, even from “farm to farm”, from “shepherds’ hut to shepherds’ hut”, or on the traces of the ancient Alps legends.
