Trodena
Trodena (German Truden) is a mountain resort in South Tyrol where lies the Monte Corno Natural Park Visitors’ Center (German Naturpark Trudner Horn), the southernmost in South Tyrol. The following Italy mountain resorts are located in the park: Salorno (German Salurn), Egna, Montagna (German Montan), Trodena. The natural park offers many Mediterranean and Alpine plants, as its height varies from 300 till 1800 meters. The following lakes lie also in the park: the “Lago Bianco”, “Lago Nero” and the “Palù Longa”, which is already part of the bordering Trento province. The natural park marks the border with the touristic region of Trentino. The other park borders are: Val di Fiemme south-eastwards, Val d’Adige westwards and Passo San Lugano northwards.
